Highlights

V8.1 introduces source grouping: link sources to a parent source over time, and compute on the parent from the data of all its children. It also brings Master Data, dashboard and news improvements, a set of bug fixes, and makes OrganizationId mandatory on the accounts API (breaking change).

Grouping sources

Model metering hierarchies — a main meter and its sub-meters, a grouping PRM and its downstream points, a contract and its sites — by attaching sources to a parent source, then aggregate or compare their data in the parent's calculated variables without listing the children one by one.

Relationships

  • New form field type Source, defining a relationship between sources (e.g. Contractual, Physical)
  • Several relationships per account; one parent per relationship at a given date

Attachments

  • New Relations tab on sources
  • Child of: attach a source to its parent with a validity date, Since always or from a given date; reassign or detach it later, with full history
  • Parent of: view the children attached at any reference date
  • Attachments available through the API (PUT / PATCH /sources/{id}, slices endpoint) and filterable by parent with propertyFilter

Calculated variables

  • New Children sources variable selection: read a variable of every child of the parent, by relationship
  • New inputChildrenVariables object in R, with the source name, id and attachment periods of each child, restricted to the data of its attachment periods
  • Children attached later are included automatically on the next calculation
  • Automatic recalculation when a child is attached, detached, or its attachment date changes

Limitations: data arriving on a child does not trigger the parent's calculation — keep a trigger input on the parent itself. Source fields are not supported by the Master Data import in this release.

  • Relative date selection now allows choosing a future range

Calculated variables

  • The variable payload now indicates whether a variable is calculated or raw

Alarms

  • New alarm configuration: compare periods against a fixed threshold

Master Data

  • Positive feedback is now sent when a Master Data push is processed successfully
  • Clearer, more detailed error messages in the Master Data logs
  • Faster batch user imports

Authentication

  • Redirection of the Enedis login page

News

  • A news item can be created without a button and without a URL
  • Users can keep a news item to read later

🐛 Bug Fixes

Dashboards & Charts

  • Copy and share no longer worked on charts
  • Some values were not displayed on charts
  • The Y-axis started at 0 on chart types where it is not meaningful
  • Table view tiles did not show the content of the EAN Number field
  • Dashboard CSV export used the same timestamp for every datapoint instead of the per-row value
  • Incorrect date on the Total water consumption heat map
  • Bi-hourly tariff chart unavailable for hourly data before 01/01/2026

Master Data, Accounts & Users

  • Master Data push failed when assigning sites or sources to several users with large source sets
  • Datahub crashed when expanding the details of user sources with large source sets
  • It was not possible to delete an account
  • The list of tenants associated with support users was not displayed
  • Slow background loading of the tenant list
  • It was not possible to switch tenants while a news item was displayed

Data ingestion & Webhooks

  • Webhook callbacks on failed data ingestions were delayed by about one hour (sent at the timeout date instead of at processing time)
  • Webhooks were not refreshed after being modified

Other

  • Filters could not be used in the PRM list tab
  • Inconsistent column labels in reports
  • Corrected the wording of the message about the 72-hour delay
  • Visual glitch in SiteCare on Safari (macOS)

⚠️ Notes

  • Breaking change — OrganizationId is now mandatory on accounts. POST /accounts and PUT /accounts now reject requests that do not include an OrganizationId. Update any integration that creates or updates accounts (tenants) through the API before upgrading.
  • Source fields are not yet supported by the Master Data import (see Grouping sources).
